anyone know where I can purchase a copy of the Shaolin Encyclopedia. I forgot it’s title but It was available in either 2 or 4 volume set. totally in Chinese.

Try Wing Lam Enterprises. They have sold both editions (2 and 4) in the past. They may still have copies. Also, note that these “shaolin encyclopedias” are different from the 3 volume series from shaolin. The name of the “shaolin encyclopedia” is shaolin wushu daquan.
Also, you may try Eastwind bookstore in SF
