Recommended appraiser/museum contacts for ancient chinese sword

My Shifu owns what we feel to be an ancient chinese sword and would like to get it analyzed and appraised for its origin and value.

Does anyone know of a good person to speak with on these matters. We’re also thinking about contacting museums that would be appropriate.

I would post this same question on the appropriate area at swordforum.com, they’re overflowing with sword experts over there.
