Hi all,

I am still at the tail end of this 45 day Feild Excercise. Just came back from 2 weeks playing ‘commando’:smiley: I was fun but I DIED once. I have never been killed at in a war game and it was something stupid and I am still a bit ****ed about it.

Anways,

I wanted to know if the a fight took place between Ralek and <fill in the blank> I think was suppose to happen on the last month. I think I can guess the answer but I wanted to know for sure. So I won’t waste my time looking for some idiot who won’t show in March.

<fill in the blank> is JF Springer, I think. He claimed Ralek never showed up, and Ralek claimed he never showed up.

I got sent on a mission that was in the middle of the OPFOR (OPpostion FORce, the bad guys in the ‘game’) staging area for them to launch there attack against us. The STUPID part was the my MAJ KNEW they were there and was going to come rolling true the town for there attack and sent us into a pit of vipers with now support. We got killed the minute we got on site. If I had KNOWN of the enemies presence I would have told the MAJ to shove this mission to up is arse!!! Other than that I had fun!! I got to play commando quite a bit. I even introduced to OPFOR something they never had done before…I killed two with a SWORD!!! I was hilarious. I sneaked up on three of them they had me outgunned (M4. 240B, SAW) I have a M16A2. I figured if I fired I would have been ventilated! So I snuck up close and when THEY started there attack on our postion I ram up and got a “Safety Kill” on two and last one got shot. I always carry my “Stick of Stupidity” aka “The SWORD of Signal” to the field, long story. One OC (Observer Controller, the ones who moderate the ‘game’) asked me about it I told him it was the icon of our shop. He said if I killed anyone with that I would get a coin!! I got my COIN!

Asia: do you have the names of the VCD’s? A guy in our class already has a large collection, he may have them, and I bet he has translations too.
