Yes, I confess that my kung fu has changed a lot… It started in the Tomizaki style (which is Tat Wong) with some changes already. Currently I train with a sifu who follows Joe Keit. My Sigung brought many changes to the way I do things. I’m not saying it’s better or worse, but I feel the techniques are looser and more dynamic… these changes were crucial in my evolution as a martial artist.
It’s never a right or wrong to me, everyone has their own style to a degree. WTMs line (after he established his own schools) differs from ours slightly but you can tell it’s all from the same source. Even Joe and I have subtle differences in certain things we do but overall “how” we do each set is very close.

Thank you for helping me with some questions, it would be great if this site became active again! I have some questions about certain taolu, as I am putting together a resume. I plan to start a kung fu school in a few years and I am organizing myself for that.
