I find that while some of the guys are knowledgable on bullshiod, a lot of them are just mouthy cynics who clearly lack knowledge and likely have no skills.

For health: Is the person healthy? Is the teacher healthy?
For fighting: Can the person fight? Can they fight well?
As an artform: Can the person express form beautifully and make it enjoyable to watch?
The ones who are pushing phony gunk will eventually be seen for what they are and pity to the morons who stick with gunk pushers for too long. But staying with someone who is teaching you nonsense long enough will open your eyes to a lot of realities and in the end can actually be good for you.
You now have the ultimate comparison quite simply.
The guys at bullshido do seem to be about 87% smcktalking though. But I know there are some decent martial artists there just like here.

You can stick this âIâm the cool guy here stuff.â It is VERY clear that people on your board only have to meet one criteria, They have to have to bow to the âmovementâ. I assume you not including all the professional fighterâs amateur kickboxers and submissions fighters and various professional trainers identified by the little logos above their names. Those labels are not able to be added by members. They only get the tag, âproffesional fighterâ for example when the mods have been able to confirm what event and find their name on the card.

You should check the profiles. Actually Iâd guess somewhere around HALF the members are traditional artists. Look at the styles listed and discussed, Kyokshin, Baji, Muay Thai, Judo, Jujitsu. These are among the most popular arts there and are each and every one as traditional as traditional gets.

This is an excellent summary of what the site is about to me. We only call BS when someone is claiming something it is not. For example, no one rags on a guy into Capoera who says it gets you into fantastic shape and the moves look awsome. Weâve even got a Wushu guy who gets plenty of respect for what he does. He doesnât claim to be t3h deAdky, heâs honest about his abilities and has met and sparred with a number of other members and says he really enjoyed it and learned a lot.
