Bob Ross is the real name of the painter from the ‘Joy of Painting’, but the resemblance is striking and I could not resist the joke. Ross may be dead but happy clouds and titanium white live on!

I still watch that show if I’m sittn’ around on a Saturday afternoon. I’ve got a friend that criticizes Bob Ross’s paintings all the time, calling him a “hotel painter” (the same paintings you see in hotel lobbies). I do agree that his broad general approach is a bit generic, but I like his stuff 
I guess I just have picky friends in my “artistic circles”.
