not the usual muscle to pull

it’s kinda weird, i’ve pulled a muscle on my shin, well it might be a tendon, but its the thin strip than goes infront of your shin.

i think i did it while playing rugby but i dont know how, i just think it’s an unusual muscle to pull, and it realy hurst every time i put my foot down. i’m supprised how much that muscle gets used!

has anyone else pulled a muscle that they can’t understand how the fvck they did it?

just curious.

That’s ‘shinsplints’ ain’t it? I think it occurs if your calf muscles are very large, out of proportion with the muscles on your shin.

The worst muscle to pull - the bridge of your foot!

Insert intellectual quote here:

pulled that one before delicatesound

underneath my foot and tendon on my toe. im still getting over it!

You can get shinsplints from jumping around on a bad surface.. Some floors are bad because they vibrate.. not good for your shins when you land.

Maybe you landed hard on your foot and the front of the shin absorbed the impact. It happens, but it hurts for a while. Just take it easey, it should go away after a while.

I don’t think it has much to do with the size of the muscles.

Shinsplints are common in runners. It’s a hard thing to stretch, the shin.

I’m still rehabbing a hamstring injury (more than a pull–hurt to even sit), but weight training is completely doing the trick.
