Master Yang will be teaching a full day seminar on the 5 elements - alpha and omega of Xingyi - and it will be focused on the how to - practice and practical The seminar will be held at the Jow Ga Shaolin Insitiute in Reston Virginia on Sunday, October 18th, 2009 [http://www.jowgashaolin.com/](http://www.jowgashaolin.com/) A spacious studio not far from Washington D.C. What you will learn: 1. The correct practice of Santi - the inside details that make it work as a practice (instead of just standing there…) 2. The physical/mechanical aspects of the Six Hormonies - what are they, and how they relate to power and speed 3. The different types of power generation in Xingyi 4. Power and speed drills/exercises - the most important ones 5. The details of the 5 elements - what you don’t see and need to know 6. How to use the movements of the 5 elements in real application 7. How to train XIngyi as a life-time practice - different focus and training methods for different goals 8. What is internal strength, and how to work on developing it. The seminar will run from 10 AM to 6 PM with a break for lunch. (There are lots of good places to eat cheaply around there)- it should be a fun and informative work out!
