I was looking through some old posts, and I noticed one thread that said you had “TCPM Wooden Dummy” books available… If you still have a copy, I would really (really, really, really) like to have a copy. =P Please tell me you still have one left!

Still available

Hi Theghola,

How goes it? You are in luck my friend. I still have some copies left due to cancellation of reservation. I will reserve a copy for you. Please email me at sifu1@internorth.com. I will give you the details of the purchase. Thanks

BTW, anyone who is interested in purchasing the book please feel free to contact me (I still have 5 copies left). We will keep searching for more copies.

Great!

So this book is Chinese-only, right?

PS…

Thanks!

The Book

Right, the book is in Chinese only. It has lots of pictures though. A number of people who do not read Chinese don’t find that takes away what is intended - to show the entire Wooden Dummy set. Beside, I would be glad to answer any question to the book. That is like the bonus feature of the purchase. We (the HK group and I) would like to share the legacy of a Grandmaster with those who strive to expand their horizon.

Hope this help

Mantis108,

Does the book show the application for mantis catches the cicada? I have the book also but I don’t read Chinese. It sure looked like a variation of it to me but I just wanted to make sure.

Cha Kuen

Hi Cha Kuen,

Yes, the application of “Tang Lang Poh Seem” (Mantis Catches Cicada) is on page 95/96. There is a bit of confussion with the “Gwa Fu Poh Seem” as seen in the clossing of the forms. I will open a thread to address this.

As for Sau Fa applications, there are 2 more shown in the book. On p.27, there is the “Scoope the Moon form the bottom of Ocean” (partial). On p.28, “Draw Bow to Shoot Tiger” is demonstrated by Sigung Chui Chuk Kai.
