On the “Scars video ripped to shreds” thread, Ironfist posted a link for a video review web page. I was hoping that some people may have links to other such web pages.
I’ve bought some tapes in the past and feel I was robbed. I thought I’d never buy another tape again until Iread that video review, but he hasn’t reveiwed anything new in some time.
There used to be a really good forum at the TRS site. Good gab and we’d share our thoughts on TRS product and other brands. Considering that we’d trash some of TRS’s product line I can see why they closed it, but we did praise most of it.
Here’s a list of some of TRS’s better products, or at least the ones everyone on the old TRS forum agreed was good.
Fight to Win by Jim West.
Unarmed and Dangerous by Randy Warner and Bob Taylor.
The Systema tapes by Vladimir Vasiliv(sp?).
Street Safe by Paul Vunak. For really basic but good techniques.
They have a bunch of other good tapes but those seem to be the general self defense ones. All the instructors above get good grades for presenting their material.
TRS?
I don’t know what TRS is, but thanks for those recomendations.
Since there are tens of thousands of MA videos I’d think somebody would review them. Heck I’d pay money, not much, for such a service.

Where ppl can review everything they want, we also posted a few video reviews by Glenn Green on the front page but I guess nobody wanna share their comments about Martial Arts products :rolleyes:
