I’m 58 and just got back into running after not running for about 20 years. I’m up to 3 to 3.5 miles a day with a goal of running 5 a day and doing some 5k and 10k races.
Have to admit I am a lot slower than I used to be though. Maybe once I drop some of this weight that will change. ![]()

I think speed is the first thing to go, that’s why all the old masters mostly do Tai Chi. ![]()
Hey, I’m 58 too and grew up in south Jersey. Maybe we’ve met although last time I met someone who was also from the area it turns out I crashed one of his parties and ran off with his beer. Of course I didn’t tell him that was me. ![]()
