Lip service…

Hi all,
I have a friend who has a small ‘bump’ on his lip. I never mentioned it to anyone but wonder what it could be. He smokes, is about 36 years old. I don’t think it’s a cold soar because it has been there for months. Maybe it has been there forever. Just noticed it now. Can it be ‘cancer’ or just a bump and nothing to worry about? Should it just go away? Can anything be done to make it go away?

possibilities are endless, but he should get it checked out.
i believe pipe smokers tend to get lip/tongue cancer more than average because they always rest the pipe in the same spot (not sure of the validity of this)
