last night i was speaking to some hung ga students/teachers and was told that before lam sai wing started learning hung ga, he was a choy lee fut student. true or false? if true who was his choy lee fut sifu?

Last night I was speaking to some hung ga students / teachers and was told that before lam sai wing started learning hung ga ,he was a Choy Li Fut student.

True or False ?

If true who was his Choy Li Fut sifu?

Good question,it's too hard to 
tell.
Because,you're going backward in
time.
But,I don't think so,otherwise it
would have stated in Lam sai wing's
books,that he was a Choy Li Fut
practitioner,before becoming 
involved with hung ga.
This is just my input,but I could
be wrong.

Only the hand techniques in hung ga 
looks similiar to those of Choy Li
fut , that's all.
Choy Li Fut was developed by Chan
Heung.
