Just saw something that made my day.

I was just getting lunch and I saw something that made my day.

I was in the line at Wendy’s on Congress downtown and there was a man yelling at his kid. The kid was maybe 5 or 6 and the guy was just screaming at him. The kid was smiling, and kept on smiling. I was half laughing as well, becuase the guy was really animated and looked like an @ss. Anyway, they were seated accross from each other and the guy yelled at the kid and told him to wipe that smile of his face or he’d knock it off.

Now, the kid is little, and getting scared. The guy says, “you think I’m fu(king kidding, but I break your fu(king face open right now.” Then he raised his hand up.

Now, you can tell about half a dozen men, including myself are just waiting for that hand to fall on that child, but before anything happend this EFRIGGINNORMOUS black man stood up behind him. The guy was HUGE. I’ve seen him there before, he’s a Cap Metro Buss driver, and I think he eats lunch there during his rotation. Anyway, the guy is like 6’9" and 350lbs and it looks like all muscle. If Hitler had seen this guy he would have reconsidered who was the Ubberman.

Anyway, EnormoMan says “You need to quit talking to your kid like that.”

The other man says, “He’s not my kid and I’ll talk to him any way I want.”

EnormoMan he steps right up and puts his hands on the guy’s table and leans over right in the guy’s face and says “And now you need to stop talkin to me like that.”

The guy just sat there, shaking his head, not saying a mother fu(king word the whole time. The kid’s mom came out of the bathroom and sat down next to him. I think she was oblivious to the whole thing.

EnormoMan sat back down and ate his burger.

I was pleased, and I belive I’ll ask my wife to make EnormoMan a cape.

JWT

It’s like David and Goliath, only this time David knows a Big-Ass MoFo from Downtown. Legendary JWT.

Great story…

When I was in Hawaii, on the CityBus service, there was a guy getting pushed around by this ****phobic punk, just cause it was a full bus and everyone was squashed up.

And this H U G E security guard, not quite as big as your guy, but real stocky, stood up and made the driver stop the bus on the (DYT) freeway, where he chucked the punk off.

I was only about 12, but I thought, man that guy is cool.

*DYT-DumbYankTerminology: “It’s a f u c king Motorway!!!”

Aewsome!

That is ho mo phobic BTW.

Is there ANYTHING they won’t censor?

Kung-Lek, I’ve summoned you once about this, and no reply!
If I have to start name-calling I will. It’ll be easy - you’re Canadian!

JWTAYLOR

I’m glad someone put that a-ss in his place.

But I wish the boys mother knew what was going on.because most likely that a-ss will yell at him again. But I guess she will find out soon enough.I hope soon.

JWT - that is one fine story.

I’m just picturing that giant from “The Green Mile” gettin’ in some punks face.

I want an EnormoMan Action figure from Santa Claus next Xmas!!

The guy is a menace to society. Was he dating that chick? I’m sure he beats her. He probably beats the kid, too. Child abusers should be skinned alive. The reason there’s so many ****ed up people in the world is because when they were young, they had parents like that guy.

Iron

Strangely enough though, when I was working retail, we were told to NOT confront people abusing their kids. Ok, a little more background. I worked at world’s biggest toy store. Yep, that’s Toys R Us. And there were a lot of ***** moms, and every once in a while one would smack her kid around. So, fighting my first instinct to let her know what a white trash piece of crap she was and then break her knees and ask her how she likes it, we were just supposed to ask them to please not act that way, because we’re trying to maintain a “family environment.”

See, if you make a scene, kick them out, embarass them, etc, then they’ll get REALLY ****ed and take it out on their kids even worse when they get home.

Heh, the only problem with killing a public child abuser is then you need to find a new home for the kid

Iron

IronFist, the thing is, that it is not always abuse. A kid needs to be smacked around once or twice if he acts up, but not beaten for stuff out of his control. If the kid runs another kid down, then I see why he should be hit. But if the parent comes home after a bad day and smacks the kid around, that is another thing completely.

I’ve seen a kid I wanted to beat the crap out of for screaming at his MOM. Dead serious. I was walking down an aisle one day at work, some grocery store, and I could hear this kid on the next aisle screaming, but not cussing, at his mom “I don’t want that! I hate you! You have to buy me that because I like that and you have to do what I tell you!” and he was just screaming, people clear across the store (he was on the last aisle) could hear him, and this is 16 aisles away. The kid had to of been 5 or 6 and the mom was yelling back. I walked right past him and was wanting to kick his snotty, stuck up face in for what he was doing. The mom was probably embarassed as hll that her son was being such a prck.

And I know how you feel too dude, I use to work at Toys “R” Us near where I live. It sucked during Christmas and the customers were aholes.

Hehe, I was thinking of the guy from the green mile too:) I love to hear stories like that when a good person does the right thing. right on

Philbert is correct. Not disciplining your child is the worse form of abuse. The goal is not to have a happy child. The goal is to have a happy, well adjusted adult.

Ving Rhames is AWESOME!!!

I have smacked my kids hand in public. Kids have tunnelvision, and when they REALLY REALLY want something they will stop and NOTHING to get it. My oldest grabbed a jar of pickles or something at the grocery store after I had told him about 20 times not to touch because it would break. So…I smacked his hand, and some lady thought that I was beating him down. She had been standing right besides me each time I had told him NO and when I finally took action, she went and told the cashier to call the cops! I, being ME!!, walked up to her and told her that if she doesn’t like the way I raise my children, leave the building, and if she persists on getting into my business, I will beat her within an inch of her life. She just left!

I personally believe that if you don’t disipline your children, they are going to turn into juvenile delinquints and ruin your life when you are older! Well, I spank my children, they get their mouth smacked when they smart off, and they are good (for the most part)…but they are also 2 and 4!!

Well, just thought I would put in my 2 cents!

Wushu Chick, here’s a little trade secret guaranteed to work like a charm. Next time, don’t hit the kid. Calmly look at him and say, “You just earned yourself a spanking when you get home.” Just make sure you do tear that a$$ up when you get home. It’ll make him think about what he did wrong

And if your good, the memory of that spanking will keep him in line for the next 4 months.

wushu chick,
lol! I agree, Ving Rhames is awsome, but you might have him mistaken with someone else  . The guy from The Green Mile was Michael Clarke Duncan.

I agree with Wushu Chik. But not with the guy yelling at his kid because he had a bad day at work.
