I think he was asking if you could just purge someone’s account without deleting post-by-post.
kl – i live 45 minutes from vancouver. i have more than enough loons and toons left over from trips up north, so i don’t need any more. 
mk – you should read more into my post. if i only have swank in the main and training forum, then i can only delete posts by a user made in that forum. doing an overall purge would affect several forums, particularly for someone like kl who’s been here longer than dirt. we wouldn’t be able to even if we had a magic purge button, as i wouldn’t be able to kill stuff in btl’s forum, and since philbert doesn’t play nice with others, he gets his forum and that’s it.
honestly, i can’t think of a legit situation when we’d want to nix all of a user’s posts from one forum and not from another, so a purge (if gene has such a shiny, red button) makes the simplest and best sense. and if gene doesn’t, a simple nix of the account followed by opening a fresh one under the same name is easy, too.
