I'm a *****.

d4mn it i hate this, i’m such a martial arts wh0re, my interest shifts right and left. Now i’m talking to my friend that just started training at my old school. And all my friends are there (well from my old neighborhood). I quit there for a reason, and also because of circumstances, it just happened so to say.

So i started TKD because it was close, i’ve really liked it and i think it’s great with a great bunch of people, i really like the teachings and the philosophy of kicking. And i like it and would very much like to keep practicing, but yeah now i’m talking to this friend of mine and they are always playing around doing groundfighting, they dont know a lot (noone in iceland does) but they got instructionals and are learning on their own. Sounds like a lot of fun, plus they got Muay Thai which is kinda cool (2 of my friends are going to Thailand next year to compete).

I’m a regluar wh0re, i’m still in TKD that’s not the problem, i just think i would also have a great time at the other place, but i cant afford 2 places at once especially now that i’m trying to save up to go train in america (see that’s more “wh0redom”).

Sigh like always i’m just ranting away (hey we have so much OT stuff thought it might need some MA stuff too).

Great that’s suppose to be “W H O R E” think i’ll edit the post a bit.

I thought it was bitc…

I think you should stick with what your doing…

your friends dont have real instruction if I read correctly,so dont bother…

he’s a bad kung fu instroctor (IMO) but good Muay Thai. He doesnt have any ground experience (to my knowledge at least).

It sounds like your hart is in it, and thats what really counts.
Just keep up with your training. Hope to see yea get to America.

One of the greatest things I ever did was study TKD! I learned all of the poomses (forms – Tae Guk – if that really matters) white thru black. Although I thought them impossible to memorize, over the years I have. They will be with me forever (into old age) and I will continue to practice them always (slow them down and lower those kicks when I’m gray haired or bald – whichever comes first). My wife is jealous I have some form of exercise to practice by myself at night with the kids asleep (she needs a tape – tae bo, buns of steel, etc. I need nothing). Any MA with forms will do (I do not think the grappling arts have forms, but I may be wrong). Sure it can be debated whether or not the forms help in a fight (I think they contribute to balance, concentration, focus, speed and better control – not a bad bunch of skills needed in a fight). While TKD made me healthier and a much better athleate, what it did not do (for me, anyway) was develop any sense of fighting instinct. It gave me a false feeling of self confidence. TKD does not cover close ranges (not enough, at least), there is no grappling (unless you throw a little Hapkido in there – which my school fortunately did) and I never learned to take a good punch (although I’d been rocked a few times by kicks)! Overall, I am glad I studied TKD. I believe it’s a great base. I don’t think you should stop – but I do think you should concentrate on one MA as your base – and dip your feet into as many others as you can. Then when you’ve gotten your black belt move on with confidence!

Truly,
Godzilla

PS. You *****!

Guess what Q? If you get to study in America you’ll have some access to some excellent TKD, ground fighting, Muay Thai and BJJ schools.

Stick with the TKD, relax and the chances to do more will come.

Eres Ursos Xesball.

Heh that studyingin america thing is getting fainter and fainter, everyone i talk to tells me going to undergrad studies in USA is crazy because of the cost for an undergrad degree (plus very few scholarships). Oh well.

Ahh yes and Godzilla, i dont really like the Taeguk forms, i’ve learned 2xPalgwe though and i like them.

Raise your hand if you don’t speak Norwegian.

Or is that Danish? I don’t speak either so I can’t tell from just looking, but I know it’s one of the two cuz of the æ, ø, and å.

What the hell?

troll hag?

transvestite? Well…I never.

Lemme give it a shot

“Suck d!ck you transvestitedevil dont get the next thing, i beleave Balla means sexual intercourse though. Your nothing more then a little troll, and the next word looks like “has” although that makes no sens”

Well i pretty much get the gist of it, what does Highwoon mean though?

Btw my friends keep flooding me on irc with “hisnick Ballar qeySuS i mosan” or something similar, i only know danish and icelandic so that makes no sense :stuck_out_tongue:
