Hello everyone and let me introduce myself.My name is Chuck but I use the name Yin Chuan because it represents the martial arts school that I attended since 1980.The school was an ecclectic one back then and merged Chinese Kenpo,moo duk kwan,judo,and jujitsu with a heavy influence of self defense techniques.The school stressed sparring from the beginning and many of the black belts fought full contact locally.I had just gotten out of the service and managed to talk my wife(then girlfriend)into attending classes with me.She lasted up until the matwork then went on to other things but I stayed with it and trained of and on for the next several years.I took a hiatus for a while and studied shotokan karate with the ISKF and then wanting to still do matwork I trained in both schools.It was around this time that I started to train in judo which I still do.I left shotokan years ago and continued with kenpo for the next several years until around 2000.I went from aikido back to judo again which is where Im at right now.I must say that I really love all the martial arts and still appreciate the true beauty of it all.I learn something new everytime I attend class.Sorry to ramble.I hope to learn many things from everyone on this board.Thanks.Chuck
