I was under the impression that one of the great benefits of martial arts practice was becoming confident and disciplined. If you are so insecure that you feel you must viciously defend against the most minor and meaningless of insults from people who have no way of making actual evaluations of you in the first place…it would appear that you have missed something in your training along the way.
