NYC Schools
William CC Chen has a school on W. 23rd. CK Chuy’s NY Tai Chi Chuan Institute (I’m not sure of the name) is on W. 44th Street, next to Town Hall. Both have excellent reps, but I understand their students don’t like to hear both their names mentioned in the same sentence (although I don’t know why-perhaps someone else in the forum knows something about the issues). I studied, briefly, at CK Chuy’s school and had a good experience. It’s a busy school, Sifu is involved in all the classes, and the student teachers seemed pretty good, too. I left because I moved out of the NYC-metro area.

How is this guy ? I know from his website that his lineage and body mechanics are pretty impressive but does he teach the combat aspects of the internal arts ?
Anyone train with him here?
