Normally I dislike most MA magazines but there’s a pretty cool article here (uh, I guess it’s cool, I don’t know much abou Baguazhang but it’s got cool pics of different training methods, like wooden posts and an elastic punch thing).
What’s up guys? I’ve been really busy with classes recently and I haven’t posted much recently, so I thought I’d come say hi in the internal forum.
I’m giving my finger 2 weeks off from all hard work. I’ve stopped CoC’ing for the time being, and I won’t do any pullups (booooo) for two weeks, either, because they require a tight grip.
Also, just to be extra safe, I’ve replaced deadlifting with squats, because squats are less grip intensive.
So far it hasn’t hurt in a few days, but it usually only hurts after I release a great deal of tension anyway, so normal stuff like typing or punching or picking my nose doesn’t hurt, but trying to unscrew a really tight lid on a jar would probably cause it to hurt once I let go of the jar.
