Dragon /Eagles Claw

I’m interested in both of these styles, but eagles claw seems alot more popular. Why is that? I have one excellent book on Dragon’s claw but that’s all I could find and it was in a non Martial arts store in Chinatown. Any help would be great, I’m very into chin na at the moment and hope to continue it into something.

Both are very popular but only Eagle Claw is more widely taught (as of late). There are a couple of Dragon STyle Books out there. I presume you mean the southern style Dragon. I only know of 2 sifus teaching. Yip wing hOng of NYC and Sifu Martin of Sandiego.

There is a new book out on dragon which is available lately. check the souther forum as a topic was on it there.

jun_erh what is the book and which store did you get it at? It sounds pertty interesting and I would like to take a look.

Amitabha!!

thanks for the info

and the book I purchased is called Understanding of Dragon Form. It’s demonstrated by Leo Chu and Francis Au. Most of the other info is in Chinese which I don’t read unfortunately. It was less than five dollars. It has the form on top and then the application underneath it with a description under each picture. I don’t know how you’d order it, but I got it at the basement level bookstore next to Silky Way (the MA store) on Kneeland street in Chinatown, Boston, USA! I n’t think I unearthed some lost find or something, but would definately recommend the book. The same store had cheap Leung Ting and Bow Sim Mark stuff like books videos, etc.
