Did you know that women that preform Oral sex have strenthened immune systems, higher chi levels, and better chi flow than non preformers? The benefits are greater is the preformee is a chi kung practitioner. It’s true. Tell everyone you know.
You know what? Yes, I’m a guy, a dirty rotten sailor at that, I know how to be a rude *******. But then there are times when I am representing something I respect, I wouldn’t post trash like this. Let me give you some wisdom. No matter if you have a girlfriend, wife, sister, or daughter, <em>you have a mother</em>. I could just as easily treat her the way you and your responents suggest. DUAL MEANING No matter if a woman has a boyfriend, husband, or children, she is someone’s <em>daughter</em>. If you were a father, especially of girls, I hope you would not publicly act this way. But to sum it all up, you claim to be a sifu and have done damage to your system and disgraced your sifu. Do you teach women at your kwoon? And who gave you the title sifu anyway? It should be removed! This conduct is unbecoming a black belt.
This is where I am supposed to apologise, but here’s the bottom line.
Sex isn’t dirty, perhaps you should look into your puritanical values and see if they hold water in real life.

I don’t remember God telling me to live up to your standard. I follow my own heart and not the whining of someone who is afraid of sex.
It’s yin and yang…two yangs repel. Get your magnets out. This isn’t what I learned in kung fu, these are my personal common sense beliefs. In Chinese medecine it is said that when a man ejaculates that he loses jing. SO if a woman recieves this she gains energy. Your HMO may not agree, but check the Taoist classics.

It is hard enough to get and keep women in martial arts. Sometimes there is a comfort issue with a male teacher making contact with a female student to correct posture or technique. Many times there is a macho sense that feels unwelcoming to women. Hence, the large female participation in the cardio kickboxing classes. And, fortunately rarely, there is actual sexism going on.
You say it’s all just harmless joking. But when “just the guys” are around, would you be joking about a female students body, good or bad, and what you would or would not like to do with (or to) her? Tell me this is how a sifu should act. Would a woman want to learn from you? Would a parent put their daughter in that class?
Yes I teach women, no I would never say that in class.
If you read later on in the post I wrote that men can absorb yin energy via cunnilingus.
I know the effects that machismo and cultural conditioning have on women doing martial arts and if I have been apart of it, I am genuinly sorry.
Its been more than once that a girl has wanted to take kung fu, but her parents would only pay for her to do dance.
I didn’t mean it to be against women, I sometimes read the taoist classic and find something that seems odd or funny. I didn’t mean to offend anyone, I thought it was all in good fun.
I thought it was funny (once I got over blushing – I’m a little prudish, myself :o ). It was funny that something men enjoy would be beneficial for women. You sounded like a used car salesperson talking.
I saw no problem with the post. I also took it for what it was. Oh, uh, by the way: I’m not adverse to trying to increase my Yin Chi if ya know what I mean :eek:

I would have laughed it off as a joke if not for one detail. The name “sifu” in the screen name <em>should</em> carry a lot of weight with it. I would hold him to a higher standard, especially when commiting something to writing.
i also enjoyed the post and appreciate 8stepsifu’s sense of humour.
the info on transfer of energy during sex is also correct (from a taoist/TCM perspective at least) and therefore could be of interest to many people on this forum
i agree that it would be inappropriate to make light of it in a class, but this isn’t a class.
what, a Sifu can’t have a sense of humor or post a joke (even an adult-oriented one)? come on now… i think nearly everyone took 8step’s comments as humorously as he intended… if they did not, i don’t think it reflects negatively on him or his art- it much more likely shows an insecurity or ‘touchy area’ on the part of the reader that took it otherwise.
8stepsifu seemed to at least see my view; and weather or not he agreed with it, weather or not the entire population or just me was offended, he apologized for it. But since the rest of you insist on keeping the topic current, I’ll go on. Like I said, I hold a sifu to a high standard, someone I want to “grow up to be like”. And the sense of humor doesn’t bother me. What part of dirt rotten sailor don’t you understand? What this man says and commits to writing carries weight and authority. And even if it sounds unlikely, he may use this authority in a bad way. 8step says he acts different in his class, but I’ve seen bad teachers or even high ranking students. Even if his morals are high and he doesn’t really make advances on his students, it is a bad image to put forth. Would you advertise that sense of humor in the yellow pages? That’s exactly what happened. People come to this forum all the time looking for advice, schools, and teachers. I’ll repeat, it’s hard enough to get women in martial arts.
Now for something completely different. If 8step would have put an email address in his profile, this post never would have happened. Why hide behind the anonymity of a screen name?
i think that it’s rather naive to expect someone to display a certain level of moral character just because he or she is a sifu. a sifu is a sifu only because he or she is a high-level martial artist; aside from this, they are usually just as imperfect as you and i.
Hey you are idealising a sifu way to much.. There are the good the bad and the *****.. A martial arts teacher does wear many hats but they are based solly on there own personal morals…Stop watching gung fu movies and look at reality.. Criminals learn martial arts and teach as well.. so do phedophilles and other such miscreant to gain there objectives…Same as relativly good people study and try to pass on what tthey learn but unlike the martial arts movies there is no such thing as just black and white in real life there are areas of grey and the martial arts world has them in spades…

To maintain a puritanical exterior for a MA practioner may be nice but might be hipocracy if it’s not the true nature of the individual.

I don’t know about anyone else but I find the derogitory remarks regarding the sexual passiveness of sheep to be somewhat offensive. What would scottish farmers say if they heard you talking about their sheep that way? As a practitioner of martial arts i would expect more from you 6hmantis!
Seriously though, I too have wondered if half the people on KFO claiming that they are sifu’s are just lying. Not to say i disbelieve this, but i am a little skeptical.
That being said, I found the oral sex topic quite entertaining and educational. It was completely intended to be more than just sexist guy talk. My girlfriend even read it and she didn’t seem the least bit bothered. If i remember correctly she laughed at it.
As for 8stepsifu, I have no proof that he is a real sifu(and if so if he is a good one) but I must admit im one of his fans. He seems bent on making the forums a brighter place. I never read something of his without smiling.
BTW; i can understand the opposite opinion as well.
