For the best quality, you cant beat Chan Tat Fu 65A Yen Chow Street, G/F Kowloon, HK Te. (852)2387 1132 Right across from Golden Computer Center. Shenzhen is full of crap…and AIDS infested hookers. -jo ---

Thanks a lot! This was really useful when I was in HK two weeks ago. However, Chan Tat Fu obviously has closed? The women at the counter at the entrance told me he has retired. Ka Fok is still there, however, and a really good shop. There is another one on Johnston Road, it’s called kungfu supplies, but the selection there is much smaller. I also travel a lot in mainland China and actually, I found that prices are not much better there, if at all. And the quality in the stores in HK can be much better. (Altough you can find good quality in the mainland, too)
