Can you recommend schools/Sifu to visit in San Fran?

I will be visiting San Francisco shortly, and would like to visit as many kung fu masters in the area as possible. Can anyone suggest schools/masters/Sifu i should check out while I am there. I don’t know when I’ll be able to get back out there, so I’m trying to maximize my trip. Thanks for any help.

Check out Sifu Adam Hsu’s school in Cupertino. His website is www.adamhsu.com

Adam Hsu’s school

I went there when I was searching for a kung fu school and it wasn’t what I was looking for.

Apparently Adam Hsu is never there. He comes by for seminars once or twice a year from what I was told.

Ming,

That didn’t used to be the case from what I have heard. I never went to Sifu Hsu’s place but I did know a lady who knew him. I was told that Sifu Hsu moved to Taiwan and is involved with the Taiwan Police in some capacity. This was a faw years ago, so I have no way of knowing if this is still the case.

Wing Lam School in Sunnyvale is definitely worth the time! Seriously!

I was just there at Adam Hsu’s school not even 2 months ago.

hey dude

Just thought I would mention that Sifu Abel teaches Southern Longfist in San Mateo. It might be worth your while to check it out.

San Mateo isn’t ridiculously far from me. Perhaps I will one of these days. Thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks to all who gave me advice on looking for a place to start…

I’m leaning very strongly to Lei Hung CMA in Richmond, CA at this point…and wonder if anyone out there could share experience…you can e-mail me privately…conebeckhamNO_SPAM@yahoo.com

I am not sure where is located regarding San Francisco but she is a very serious and good martial artist.

I met her at our tournament and watched her go through a set of tan tui and she makes traditional movement worth learning.

Watching her you get the flavor of what good traditional training can produce.
