Butterflies

Why do you get butterflies in your stomach before a fight?

Joe

It’s the “fight or flight” adrenaline rush

Yes, and it’s normal. It is not a sign that you’re weak or not ready to rumble. Learn to channel that energy into your techniques–don’t let it sap your resolve. Most fights are won by the mind, not muscle. Stay focused and believe in yourself.

Then sucker punch the b@st@ard.

O,haha, see I dont have this problem I was just wondering why poeple in general get this…it may not even be when you get in a fight…

Before I have a fight comming up (like now, I am fighting in the Iowa Challenge 10 Feb.) I get butterflies about a week out. Have trouble sleeping. All that is normal. It also has to do because deep down we always wonder (atleast I do) if you have trained hard enough to handle the fight. So it is nothing to worry about. Just take a deep breath, relax and it’s all good.

Pain is temporary, glory is for ever.
