Does anyone know or know a good site to find instructions for making one. I need to know the angles for the arms and leg and sizes ect.

If you just want the dementions I can bring my book in tomorrow and give them to you, I have a great book that shows you how to make them out of wood or pvc.
that would be great if u can be arsed. ive got plans im just not too sure about the measurements and angles.

Well, then I will bring them in tomorrow and send you what I ahve. these are pretty good, I got the book from a guy who used it to build his and it is a good one. Very solid.

Which book are you referring to?
You’re not referring to the Paladin Press book by Michael Janich- “The Mook Jong Construction Manual”, are you?
I found this book to be sub-par when showing how to build a ‘traditional’ dummy. His idea of traditional is a wooden dummy with round, non-tapered arms and no leg. Plus the arms are made of steel pipe covered with PVC.
However, there are some redeeming tips, but over all, the book is overpriced for what little you get.
I’m waiting for Sifu Randy Williams book regarding the wooden dummy which “also includes detailed instructions for building and mounting your own Wooden Dummy.”

Not that book, this one has a yellow cover, unfortunately I do not have it here and I cannot remember title or author!
Come to think of it, I had made some notes on when I build my own. Basically I would like to find out what the average height is for say, and average male american, and build my mook to scale with that.

The JKD neck in the PVC dummy idea in my album is version 2. Sifu Thornton at the Great Lion Company saw my original and offered some tips on how to improve the design.
The only thing I would change on version 2 is I would stager the screws that hold the neck in place (kinda like this: |---_-|, where each underscore and dash represents a screw) for better support.
