Bruises (help)

I’m a frequent reader of this forum as of late… I recently started training…in which art you may be asking? It is sort of 1 of my own, co-created by my friend and I. We call it matrix fighting. (long story)

During my training, i bruised the inside of my forearm(by the bone) It used to hurt me alot when i did that, then i got stronger, and i have bruises on me now in that area. (Due to the battles i had yesterday) The bruises do not hurt, they are slightly tendor when i touch them (easily managed, i can strike with them still) but im not sure the best thing to do about them…so post ur opinions plz…

Should I…

Tough it out, train more so i get immune to the pain of bruises and maybe bruise less easy…

or

Put ice or something on them due to the danger of a blood clot of some sort and take it easy for a while…

or

anything else,

Question is:

What should i do about forearm bruises or any other ones… thanks

That didn’t really answer my question, u think u could clear it up, or someone else could answer…and what does DIT DAT JOW mean?(sorry if mispelled) i’ve heard it alot on this forum…

i want to know what to do with these bruises, plz help…

Earth Dragon

I have always heard of dit da jow that could clear bruises in an hour or so, where do you get yours or if you make it, are you able share the ingredients?

your telling me that nobody has delt with bruises before? C’mon, plzzzzzzz

dit dat jow is an anceint recipe of herbology knowledge that is used for bruises, iron palm and other types of skin and or bone conditioning.
It is a mix of many different herbs that are fermented in rice wine and sometimes vodka though the latter seems a bit sticky when drying.

azwingchun, I have been making my own for about 5 years but I have some that my teacher made in the 80’s and it is much stronger than the batches that have been cooking for only a few years like mine, so it is very very potent.

I am not at the liberty of sharing my teachers recipe, and not sure if it would do you any good for it is written in chinese and you need to be close to a chinatown or chinese herbologist that could supply the proper herbs to you and some of the herbs are extremly hard to get again unless you live near a chinatown NY,SF TO I apologize but I cannot share a secret recipe. You can find some other peoples jow online however becuse it is sold to the masses to make a profeit it is very watered down and not very good.

Stop being a pu55y! enjoy the pain, you’ll miss it when it’s gone if “pain” is pleasent then it’s no longer pain, and if you bruise very easily then there could be something lacking in your diet. ask a DR. what causes you to bruise easily.

AHHAHAHAHAHAH lol you practice “Matrix fighting”  go to a real school and stop being such a loser  THERE JUST BRUISES SUCK IT UP PINCESS   .

Hmmm…

I started to post that question alot of times, but my registered thing wasn’t clarified or something, so i kept making it shorter and shorter till it got to there, and i left out…

THe bruises do not hurt, but there is soem reason behind them, why do they turn purple? Is it cause of a collection of blood? If so, i dont want to have a heart attack for doing something crazy such as striking a pole with my forearms(inside, kinda the wrists actually) when i have bruises.

I currently am unemployed, therefore i can’t afford to goto a school or beleive me, i would. Not to mention transportation is a problem. I am young(17, not even legal yet) yet eager to learn.

And to that guy that called me a *****, you think your tough cause you can call somebody names? Not to mention its over the internet? HA! Grow up. And i’m not even gonna return a threat, it’s a waste of time, cause i know if you said some **** like that to me in the streets, you’d get blasted. And not nessesarily by my fists if needed. Feel me?

OUT

and i just realized…

i contradicted myself, i posted a threat, my mistake, im not a so called, “Online Thug”, so forget i said that…

Grappling-Insanity, i wouldn’t mess with this guy, he strikes polls with his forarms…

I need to change my style’s name too.
“Chinese BJJ” doesn’t seem to work for me…

How bout “Combat judo!”
that’s cool!

Combat Judo it is.

To the guy with the bruises, if you’re seriously posting, I’d simply go to the doc and ask him what he thinks you should do. (if you’re worried about it… I get bruises all the time, and I don’t really care.)
Seems best, no?

Uh-oh I better watch it!!! hes gonna blast my a$$!!! I’m so scared what are ya gonna do fly to Edmonton???

Oh I “feel ya” buddy I wasnt threating you just stating how much of a Dumb@$$ you are for practicing “matrix fighting”. Join a boxing gym there nice and cheap.

Actually Grappling, there is a very powerful yet simple system gaining ground in LA called “The Matrix System.” It seems to be the most complete modern fighting art available.

My own sifu is training with the founder Al Garza and borrowing many of his techniques for our free form classes (on non-traditional kf days). I HIGHLY DOUBT you can match Sifu Garza’s credentials, so you might want to rethink that.

Apprentice: On your forearm bruises - immediately after training, grab the bruise from the inside of your forearm (closest to your body) with your thumb. Press down on the bruise, twist away (towards bruised forearm’s thumb) and pull towards your hand. It takes a little practice, but it works like a charm. Well, the color was still there after I did it, but the pain was gone within 10 minutes.

Oh and this matrix system is different from matrix fighting?? or is it one in the same. All the same I wouldnt study something with Matrix in it.

Man, I can’t even understand this thread.

you made up a style with your friend, got hurt and now you want to know how to fix a bruise?

hmmmmmmn

btw, a matrix is an environment where whatever is put in develops to a finished end. At least that is what the word means.

HEY KID!

First off, you should grow up! Get a job, buy a car and find a teacher! Secondly, if any 17 yr old KID ever tried to “blast me” I would first humiliate them, then, probably chew their throat out with my teeth, you don’t like sound to much of a threat. If you want to learn as bad as you say you do, then follow it up, don’t regret never learning an art. regrets die with you!
