Bruce Lee

Hi,

I was just thinking about it, uno Bruce Lee, how did he get as
acrobatic as he was. It might be just movie tricks but on his movies,
he does forward flips, jumping sumersalts, all sorts of gymnastic type
stuff, just wonder if anyone knows where he leant it all. I suppose
possibly he just deleloped it himself.

Dave

A good place to start is www.combatitivesolutions.com

If anything, that site has a very nice archive of other places you can go to read about Bruce Lee.

To answer your question, Bruce Lee trained alot. He researched alot. He trained alot. He researched alot, and he trained alot.

yah and its combatives

combatitaves what a ninn:)

theres one jkd link

wheres this nice BL Archive?.

I dunno, havent been there for awhile, but when I used to read up there BIG Sean had almost all of the Tao of JKD basically posted on the website, along with tons of links to other BL pages.

Does that website not work for anyone else?

IronFist

In enter the dragon, Bruce used a stunt double for the backflip in the begining.

The most amazing this I saw Bruce do was in the final 15min of Game Of Death. From a pushup postition he lifted his lower body and held for a second then flipped over. That would take incredible amount of strength and control:eek:

ironfist read my first post

he misspelled it you ninny

I didn’t see Bruce do any flips except for Enter which was one of Jackie Chan classmates. Bruce was good with bodyweight exercises.

I finally broke down and picked up Chinese Connection and Fists of Fury on DVD. While I don’t think he was a great lespian his movies are fun.

What’s a lespian? Bruce wasn’t a woman was he?

lespian

Hopefully he means “thespian”

More worryingly he means “lesbian”

Rogue…?

Hey, you leave us lesbians alone! Can’t I love women in peace???

True,

Bruce is god. 'nuff said
