I think someone mentioned this movie a few months ago - QeySuS? Anyway, I just saw a preview for it and it looks **** cool. What is it about? Is it like a martial arts movie or what?

Also, I saw a preview for Blade II, which is gonna be good.

Hey Ang lee (the brain behind croutching Tiger Hidden Dragon) will make a The HULK movie. That will be awsome!

It looks like Mark Dacascos in those Brotherhood of the Wolf trailers. He rocks!

I notice the title on the trailers is subtitled in French “Le Pact des Loups” Was this movie originally shot in French? If so, is it dubbed? Subtitled? Or is this a remake of a French movie?

The original French “La Femme Nikita” was f**king awesome. Then they redid it with Bridgid Fonda in Point of No Return which totally blew.

I saw Brotherhood of the Wolf this past fall at the Boston Film Festival. It’s French with subtitles. It’s sort of based on a true story of a wolf-like beast that killed a lot of people in rural France in the 1700’s. The King sends in an Army officer and his Mohawk blood brother, who are both just back from the Americas, to kill the beast. And, for some reason, they both happen to be kungfu masters :)! I enjoyed it a lot, and it’s certainly a VERY different movie—part serious period piece, part mystery, part horror/fantasy, and part kungfu. Definitely worth checking out, IMO.

i LOVED it, didnt take long to get used to the french (kinda like the chinese in CTHD). Lots of flashy kicks and weapon fighting. I just loved the movie, found it very entertaining, was very brutal though, some scenes i wondered “why the hell are they doing this gore scene” but it was all good :slight_smile:
