This forum is for the serious discussion of Wing Chun. It is improper to post under two different names. While I am sure you will wish to deny this I would like to point out the little spot in the lower right hand corner “IPLogged”. This shoudl give you the idea that your IP address is logged when you post to this board.
Since both Botha and Peter Aarts have the exact same ip address I smell something fishy.
If you wish to continue posting on this board then please choose one name or the other. In the futue should I see posting done under both names I will be forced to delete future postings from both.

reading the nature of the peter aarts’ last thread, i, too, smell the fish. it seems like an attempt at subtlety that really wasn’t all that subtle. i think dave did the right thing.
or maybe it’s just bias toward another dave. or maybe i’m just too suspicious after stepping in troll crap for the past few months.
Sounds to me like he was just trying to subtely advertise his own school, but it didn’t work
Also, it didn’t make sense. He posted on that thread and another one. But in the other one, it was the guy ASKING the question who posted the answer about his Sifu…? Didn’t make sense to me, but who woulda thunk that they were the same guy?

FWIW I did get a reply from “Peter Aarts” attempting to explain the situation.
According to the e-mail they are not the same person but must have been using the same “internet cafe”. While this could be possible if you look at the times the posts were made it becomes rather doubtful.
One post was placed at 11:19 and the reply was posted by the other person at 11:22. Both posts were made from the same IP Address. This means that person A would need to post his topic and then get off of the computer and person B would need to come over, get on the same computer and go to the same internet forum/message board, read the topic and reply to the topic all within a span of about four (4) minutes. To my way of thinking this is too much of a coincidence. Besides, as dezhen2001 has already pointed out he asked a question about a specific Sifu on one thread and then answered it on another.
In any event I am glad I am not the only one who smelled fish. :eek:

what has happened to the freedom to express?i do not know this “dave”,should it matter?i believe if he wants to ban him then do so,but to treat him with a lack of respect[as a moderator]will only encourage more mishaps.another thing,why doesn’t he ban all trolls as you call them?beause eventually there would be less and less to moderate,wouldn’t you agree?
there is much troll rubbish,i agree,however,to filterate it would only refine it.its obviouse that his k.f isn’t up to standards.
