Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has heard of Bob Fermor?
He is a nunchaku instructor in England somewhere, and was just wondering if anyone knows him, or anything?

For what its worth I remember seeing him at FSK competitions (Alfie Lewis ones in Manchester) in the late eighties, mostly in the weapons kata/forms. He did ‘chuks’ sets as well as staff and kama which were, err, ‘interesting’.
He won a lot of them, I can tell you that much. Flash moves and even flasher suits. I know this because my instructor at the time used to enter some of the same ones (as did I), only because he made me mind you ![]()
BTW hows it going Dave?

Ok m8, cool.
You still practise your Pak Mei? Does your Sifu teach in the UK or did you learn the style in Hong Kong?
Out of curiousity, how far did you get with your Pak Mei studies?
Yes, the UK, not very far(yet), in that order ![]()
What is your lineage? I’m guessing UK and you live in London so its got to be CTT? (won’t spell it out in case you don’t want it on here)
Mark S
Doh! Just looked at your profile.
What I don’t know, is who taught your Sifu? He also knows Lung Ying I believe(?)
Mark S
My Lineage
No my Sifu doesn’t know Lung Yin. He has only ever studied the Pak Mei art since he was 8yrs old and he is in his 50’s now.
And yes my Sifu is CTT, he is the 6th Generation master (direct linegae under Chueng Lai Chuen).
So he was taught by Cheung Lai Cheun? I don’t quite understand
Mark S
Lineage
Yes he was taught by Chueng Lai Chuen & by his son Chueng Bing Lam.
From what I understand CTT was one of the last students to be taught by Chueng Lai Chuen.
