I was doing a standing meditation the other day. It was going well and my thoughts were minimal. All of a sudden the image of Buddha appeared in my minds eye. Just pop and there it was. This scared me at first but turned out to be a great meditation session. It was not a vision but more like a visualization.

I had almost the same experience yesterday with only one small difference…I saw the colonel Sanders instead!!!Guest I was a little hungry!..Just a joke!

What could I possibly say? Do you guys mean the old Colonel or the new cartoon Colonel?
Origenx, It was kind of like an afterimage, not bright at all. The skinny Buddah in lotus. I don’t recall anything in his hands or other significant items like a sundial or anything. Not real detailed.
If you keep practicing your meditation, those distractions will go away.
