Let’s start here…here is one study which showed that the herb Huanglian actually had better cancer fighting effects than the active ingredients found in the herb. According to the Authors, “These results indicate that traditional Chinese herbs may represent a new source of agents designed for selective inhibition of cyclin dependent kinases in cancer therapy.”
