I was just reading up on his stuff at mindboxing.com. It sounds pretty impressive. Anyone have any experience with it or know anyone who does?
Go forward, my son, and
be like unto a torch
upon the darkness. Thou
are stripped now, of all
that was before. Look
not to thy fellow men
for guidance or
countenance- they canst
advise you no longer.
Thou shalt be as dust
now, and dust shall be
upon the tongues of thy
enemy. Verily, thou
shalt herald the coming
of the new age upon
man."
In the site it says some grappler dudes were impressed with his stuff and Colangelo almost knock them out (they where wearing some real ******* huge headgear).
You brake my elbow i put your face in s.hit! HA HA HA, how about that, HA HA!
It would be a shame if this was just another example of false claims and sensational marketing, but in the internal martial arts it wouldn’t really be so surprising. The testimonials on the qigong exercises I thought were perhaps the most interesting things on the site… those and the claims that this is a 6-12 month system.
I give some credit to the notion of “keys”, but I’m not sure it stretches that far…
I’ve tried telling people about this on the OG but inevitably I get a lot of wisecracks. Rec.martial-arts is a good place for this kind of info. Also see:
I had a look at that site and really enjoyed the articles - there’s a lot to be found in common between good fighting arts, and always something to be learned in terms of attitude.
Can I persuade you therefore to tell us again what you know? I’m all ears for anything that is presented in good faith, as are most of the people in this part of the forum
Wu Tong is the only “internal” I’ve ever trained in. The things that I’ve learned might be old news to most people. I just don’t know. There are hand patterns, Lost track stepping, Low kicks, circling (as in Bagua), Fa-Jing and hand techniques from BajiQuan and some Shaolin boxing techniques (not sure of what style). There is an emphasis on staying on your feet with some “anti-grappling” from Baji and Chen Taiji. Also there are some breathing and contortion exercises.

I love the smell of iron palm in the morning, it smells like… victory
Beaumont originally. I reside in Bridge City now. I don’t really know of any “KungFu” schools. I train at Daigle’s Martial Arts in Lameco Eskrima and Silat. You’ve got mail.
