Shaolin Leagacy Show for St.Jude with Shaolin Institute Official Opening in Atlanta
Atlanta, GA, (May 2, 2009) – A Special Event for St. Jude will be gearing up on May 2nd 2009 at 1:30 PM at 4350 Peachtree Industrial BLVD, Norcross, GA. The event will raise funds for St. Jude Children Research Hospital®, the premier center for the research and treatment of childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
“St. Jude is the leader in the fight against catastrophic childhood diseases such as leukemia, brain tumors and sickle cell disease,” said Grand Master Shawn Liu, coordinator of the event. “Through events like this one, the city of Atlanta and Norcross will be supporting the St. Jude mission of finding cures and saving children from across the country and around the world.”
This event will feature the famous Shaolin Legacy Show, “A Training Session with the Master”, which is a story of Shaolin highly disciplined and incredible martial art feats. The exhibition topics will include teachings of Chan meditation; Wu and He (Zen, Martial and Harmony). Each segment of the show includes martial art demonstrations of authentic Shaolin Gongfu forms as well as Tai Chi internal arts forms, weapons, and defense Sanshou sparring that express the harmony of Zen meditation and Gongfu. We will have a special guest Master from China Wang Zheng to give a Qigong-Tai Chi demonstration to charm the audience seeking natural healthy living. The Shaolin Institute of Atlanta introduces the wisdom of the orient and providing health and wellness services to the greater community of Atlanta. Institute programs will include kids’ character training, health preservation, natural healing, public safety, self-protection, Sanshou sports kickboxing as well as east and west cultural understanding.
LIU International, Shaolin Institute Atlanta will have the institute’s official opening on May 2nd 2009, the opening celebration is starting at 1:30 PM.
The Shaolin Institute is that authentic institute from China that can and will revitalize the ancient wisdom of China and of the orient for the benefit of future generations to come in the US and around the world.

Mu Dong (Wudang) Kung Fu is the traditional Taoist martial art originating from China many thousands of years past. Mu Dong also known as Wu Dang, refers to the Wu Dang Mountains of Hubei province, where the original Taoist temples were first constructed.
Mu Dong Kung Fu incorporates the five Taoist elements of water, earth, fire, wood and iron.The five Shaolin animals of tiger, crane, snake, leopard and dragon are also evident in the many forms of Mu Dong Kung Fu. This internal style of kung fu ranks the highest level of expertise within the family of Chinese martial arts. It is the very trunk from which other martial arts have evolved.
Our style involves two philosophies of development. The external element includes forms, development of the physical body through strengthening and coordination of mind and body and self defense.The internal element involves Nui Gung, development of the body's internal energy pathways through supervised exercises, in conjunction with the mastering of specific forms at the appropriate stages of one's development in the art.

Fourth USKSF North Regional Tournament
This is a United States Kuoshu Federation (USKSF) sanctioned event, it will have over 100 divisions for men, women and children, with abilities divided into beginner, intermidiate and advanced.
