Taiji Knee

I'm gathering information on the medical condition now known as Taiji knee...

(see BaguaTiger's post in the "Ankle Injury" thread on the Internal Martial Arts Forum)

Have any of you developed Taiji knee?

Do you know anyone personally who has developed Taiji knee?

Have you, or anyone you know personally, injured your knee during Martial Arts practice?

What I want to know is this:

1. When and how did you injure it
2. What style of Martial Arts do you study
3. What did your master say about it
4. How did your doctor diagnose it
5. How was it treated
6. Did you return to Taiji (or other MA practice)and if so, did the injury re-occur

If I can get enough information on this subject I'll consult with a few medical professionals (both western and Chinese)I know, and post our conclusions on my website (http://www.dragon-studios.net). If you feel uncomfortable posting your information here you can e-mail me at sifujc@dragon-studios.net.
