Moment of kensho
So I had a "kensho" moment today that I had to share with someone and I thought this would be the best place to share it. (more or less someone that would "get it", don't want to "throw my pearls before swine").
Understanding "timing" in MA or boxing finally dawned on me, in terms of musical timing. As in waiting for the right moment for the punch to reveal itself. I feel kind of dumb that it took me 10 years to finally figure this out but I'm pretty damm happy about it. Just thought I would share that.

Read it twice.
I won an autographed copy in the 2010 contest. It really is a great book, regardless what style you practice or even if you don't train gongfu. I don't practice Shaolin (I do bagua) and I still read it twice. My ex who has never trained a day in her life also enjoyed it.
