The only L.A. school I know of with Tai Chi Mantis is
Shaolin Temple Kung Fu in the city of Lomita on Narbonne ave. ( don't have the street number )
310 539-1374

They have a good school and have won many awards.

Greetings
I have been trying to get into this section for a while finally I made it.
As a student ( #2 diciple )of Kam Yuen and Paul Eng , I can help with some of your questions.

L.A. Schools of Taiji Mantis: there are 2
Lomita under my SiDai Manuel. His is not a pure Taiji Mantis school. as taught are Northern shaolin, Five Animals, Taiji and a few others.
The other is Sifu Kam's school in Tarzana, head instructor is my SiHing Rob Moses. This school also teaches, Northern Shaolin, Lohan, Taiji, 7 star Mantis

Hi Johnnyboy,

As for the transition from Kung Fu San Soo to TCPM, there should not be a big problem. I have students from Choy Li Fut or its hybird systems back ground, they seem to adepting fine. In fact, I think they can compliment each other. Things that I would be concern are the why Choy Li Fut systems tend to lock the elbow when punching and from time to extended the body fully to capitalize biomachanics. Also the CLF systems students may find it hard to adjust to the different footwork of the Mantis.
