Chop Choy
How many movements are in Chop Choy?
I like to know how many more movements there are until the form is finished...gives me some added motivation. Thanks Tak |

I think that's how many moves there are (I haven't practiced that form in a long time). Which move are you at anyways? |

Paul: About 34 or 35. I'm at the point where I just did a supplementary punch with the seven star stance, then circle in left hill climbing, and hook grapple pluck. 49 huh...about 14 left. I'd say about a week's time. Thanks. Tak |

Nothing new in the end. Just like the rest of the form.

RE: The number of movements in Chop Choy
Will probably vary depending on what system you are studying. If you are studying one connected to Lo Kwon Yue (Law Kwong Yuk, etc...) and / or Wong Hon Funn lineage there should be 47 movements not counting the closing bow. However, some of these movements are compound motions which when broken down, can seem to be more than one motion. Hope this helps. |
