Stories

I was curious if anybody had any interesting stories of modern-day masters. I've read the history books and I know a bit about Lo Kwang Yu, Fan, Wang Long, and other mantis legends. I was wondering if anybody had any interesting stories of masters that are still around today?
I remember eavesdropping on a conversation my sifu was having with another student and only caught the gist that sifu Lee Kam Wing was famous for something dealing with liondancing. Does anybody have any interesting stories about their sifu, or another practisioner they know/know of- this isn't necessarily limited to Preying Mantis.
