Are you unhappy with TV?

Are you unhappy with TV?

I've not had channels since 1990, and not coincidentally I've experienced my greatest personal growth since then.

Nowadays, I can't watch TV except for NBA basketball games - and the commercials are pretty nasty too.

There's just too much negative innuendo and evil crap on TV for me to tolerate. I can't even watch cartoons anymore, they're so filled with hatred and garbage.

Do you guys have any beef with TV?

T.V.

I know what you mean, and this time of the year is the worst--all re-runs. :D

Yeah, I have a problem with TV. Here it is: everybody has one and everybody tries real hard to find something to ***** or be offended about. Not like there is anything going on in your own life that people need to tell me what I should and should not be able to watch.

You have multiple channels for a reason...you don't like what you see on one, you can try another. Pretty easy I think.

TV,,the new opiate of the masses

My problem with TV is that once I start to watch it I can't stop... It's like a drug.

There was a time when I didn't have a TV and I found plenty of other things to do and was alot happier about it. Now that I live in house that has one, I feel compeled to watch it.. It's very strange phenomenon really. I want to stop but I can't. Anyone else experience this??

Actually, I do enjoy certain cartoons on the "Cartoon Network".

My favorite is "Courage the Cowardly Dog". Second to that is "Dexter's Laboratory".

And then there are truly great shows like "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire".

TV is not bad and not all good - but I don't watch regularly.

Not at all unhappy!

I use my TV to play kungfu vcds and sing along with chinese songs in Mandarin.
Chinese channels in China almost the same as having no TV. (Either propaganda or pap).
Sigh, i'm saved in spite of myself.
