the gift if not received by the recipient is not a gift.
however, life is a gift from god and our parents. so there are things we may not return or take it back etc. life is complicated enough, MA is complicated enough. would it be nice to make things "simple". yes, yes, I learned this from so and so teach, I modified it or add something to it. just be honest with yourself first. --
