This is a link to the sale of a membership card to bruce lee's jun fan school...notice that there are 8 places for indicating rank. No belts, eh? But stickers are ok?

When did Bruce ever say he had anything against belts?? The mere fact that no one ever witnessed his pants falling down proves that he believed in using belts.

Bruce's ranking practices
He made mistakes and changed his curriculum constantly (much like most instructors today). And when he was teaching a more traditional style (in the early years) he probably did use a ranking system (speculative).
