That's not real taichi! There's a sprawl against a shoot! It's BJJ!
Anyway, I find this exciting for two reasons: 1) His demo of the opening of taichi is what I'd worked out for myself after having been taught taichi with ony a few martial apps: it goes to show that you can work out techs from priciple-based learning with a bit of common sense and pressure testing. It's also therefore exciting because I was understanding the martial side without being shown it! 2)He lives in Japan! He'll be getting a mail.

Su Dong Cheng is in LA for the most part. At least last time I saw him. I believe some of his students may still be active in Japan and he returns now and than.
