Video - Comparing Guard Postures

Stumbled upon some internal style video clips here, and found this video comparing guard postures of various martial arts. Thought it was fun.

That's not real taichi! There's a sprawl against a shoot! It's BJJ!

Anyway, I find this exciting for two reasons:

1) His demo of the opening of taichi is what I'd worked out for myself after having been taught taichi with ony a few martial apps: it goes to show that you can work out techs from priciple-based learning with a bit of common sense and pressure testing. It's also therefore exciting because I was understanding the martial side without being shown it!

2)He lives in Japan! He'll be getting a mail.

Su Dong Cheng is in LA for the most part. At least last time I saw him. I believe some of his students may still be active in Japan and he returns now and than.
