A different look at Hero

Greetings,

While I did like Hero, the movie would have been much better without the fight scenes. Ther real excitement was the mind game that was going on through the dialogue between Nameless and the Qin emperor. The film needed much more of that. I would have watched it for an extra hour or two just for that.

I saw Hero as nothing more than an extremely truncated version of a Chinese television series.

Hero

I had to watch it twice to undrstand the meaning behind the different versions. dialogue was great, but at the end he knew the emperor was the one who kept the empire together.
