Disharmony in the wu tang clan?
the release of method man's next album was delayed, but is now set to come out this month. Supposedly, he's unhappy with it because there are tracks he wants on there that rza won't include. Apparently, meth agreed to let rza have full production rights if his last album at least went gold, which it did (actually, I think it made it to platinum). So he's got all these tracks, and rza is saying no. Also, Def Jam isn't supporting this album, for some reason...

I've heard a couple of tracks offa the new Meth joint. It ain't hot. I think that Rza may be regretting dropping hot beats for Meth. Meth used to be tight untill he started trying to act.

meth was tight! so was wu tang!
i they need to get there heads out of hollywood and back into the studio! there sword style is laughable now. but there aren't any real good spitters out there now anyway at least not mainstream. although and i may be shot for this i do like loyd banks. i think he's pretty tight(and i like fifty cent too. but i remmeber when the guy was fat, and he came out with your life's on the line.. the song that got his ass shot)

Rza and Gza still do it for me.
I dunno what to say about meth. He was a v. dope emcee. I think maybe he hasn't evolved that much though since 36 chambers. rza u can tell has evolved as an artist, he used to be screaming and doing all sorts of wierd stuff with his vocals, now he just does wierd things with his beats (which is cool, cause it's different from the everyday stuff) and his lyrics got tighter, his delivery got tighter. one thing i'm not too happy with though. imo these ppl have obviously achieved some kind of success and it's evident in thier music that they're not hungry anymore for it. it's different when you hear a hungry emcee from when you hear an emcee that made it. the wu has made it , and theyre in this comfort zone now, still trying to make hardcore stuff, when its obvious that alot, if not all of them have matured now. they need to make music that reflects the truth. anyhow, i still am a wu tang fan. hope meth does well, and grows from all of this.

I think meth's priorities are all twisted. He's all about movies now. He has a new sit-com (yes...sit-com) coming out on Fox this June. I remember when they where gearing up to release "The W" they put it this way:
"We lost to many people with our rhymes on the first couple of joints. This time we're going to make it so everyone can follow." Basically, they've dumbed their style down.

That's why Ghost gets props. He's actually had some solo success (unlike say, U-god or Deck) but still rhymes like he's hungry and doesn't neccesarily bother translating his crazed private slang for the uninitiated. I don't understand about 50% of what he says, but it's all dope.
Plus, he doesn't follow trends in terms of beats. He brings the noise Wu-Style, not whatever's hot right now style.

hell yeah ghost is hot!
i just got the pretty tony album, a few weeks ago and that **** is hot! it took me a week to get of run(the hottest song on that album) but after that, i heard the rest number 18 is hot number 10 with missy is hot. you have to get that.

That dipsh!t from Lox (why did anyone think they were dope?) almost ruins "Run" for me. I like it still, but when Ghost's on the mic its three levels better. To me, the hottest track on there is "Beat the Clock."

I heard of him last year but I didn't think much of it. then like a few months ago I read on a online news section about him, how he's been winning some major freestyle comp on live tv n stuff. Jin is that asian teenage rapper on the das efx "they want efx" beat saying he's gonna make you "speak chinese"
i think he won some freestyle friday competition on 106 and park and couple other places. wasn't he in 2 fast 2 furious as well, hmnn maybe was some other guy , i dunno, i was too busy looking at devon aoki's phat ass to care.
