Texas Monk saves police officer from gunman

Texas Monk saves police officer from gunman

I thought the guy was a shaolin monk, but apparently not. Still, a gutsy rescue. Interesting video of him disarming the gunman.

Pretty quick to disarm the gunman.

It was a perfect disarm/gunman distracted/ twist weapon to center line. He didn't look like a slouch either.

Yeah, I saw that on the tv too. At first I thought, What an idiot, grabbing the gun like he did. Then I saw it again and had to admit that it was a sweet disarm! Gutsy indeed.

BTW, did you see more of the footage? The monk dude is holding the gun on the guy and the policewoman is trying to restrain him, but he's still struggling. Then this big old fat chick comes wandering up and just lays down on the punk and that's it, he's pinned! The copper cuffs him.

What a world when a holy man disarms a gunman and turns the gun on him and a fat chick lays on him to keep him down. Who needs the police!?
