In the tradition of red5 angel:another thread

I have been thinking.
Any thoughts?
Touched hands with any one today?
Why not? get out and do it!
I have seen some bad hands out there.
He 's got the whole world -in his hands
In his hands- hes got the whole world in his hands
hes got you and me brother
In his hands
Hes got you and me sister
In his hands
Hes got the whole world in his hands.

dies irae dies illa

Those were the days my friend
I thought that they would never end.

It appears the talent for poetry and song lyrics is pretty thin on the ground here.

I dunno. I'd give it an eight on the dance meter. It's kind of a medley of favorites. But I liked PlanetWC's tribute to Ng Moi too.

Cut Yuanfen some slack. Half his state's on fire. May he spare us from bad lyrics.

Here's a little ditty of my own:

(To the Tune of "As the Caissons Go Marching Along")

When Your Sifu Comes Marching to Town
By Grendel

Give a tan,
Give a bong,
Give a wu, you can't go wrong,
as your Sijo goes marching along.

For it's just SLT,
We've got invulnerability,
Shout out Sifu's name loud and strong,
Joy geng, Joy yin jong
as we all just get along,
and your Sifu comes marching to town.

Now that's Kung Fu.

Cheers,

I say this as kindly as possible:

Your ditty has only reinforced the opinion expressed in my earlier post.

I don't believe you are as excited as I am.

If you are, prove it. Prove to me that your excitement matches mine and that of Don Chisao, my mentor.

No one can beat Don Chisao, NOOOOOOOOOOOO-BODY!

Art is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm a poet,
I know it,
My rhymes,
they just don't show it...

Nim Wing Chun, she is a friend of mine,
Nim Wing Chun, she is a friend of mine,
I never knew her gooder,
but I kinda' understood her,
We ought'a study when we shud'da
or we'll cry out if and when we would'a
the time we comes to Minnesotas,
Reg5Angle's gonna snow us.

If it is snow you shovel
If it is jabberwocky or its material equivalent
you shovel...again and again and again.

Sisyphus contemplating Minnesota.
But I am still excited about wing chun- arent you?

Yuanfan,
I know you and Red5Angel have had your differences and petty abuse has been hurled from both of you but can't you just put the past behind you? I don't understand why you feel a need to continue bashing Red5Angel.

I would expect someone of your knowledge and experience to be beyond the silliness of an internet squabble. Why don't you do what you are best at? - imparting us novices with wisdom about WC instead of passing silly comments on someone who is genuine and sincere about his WC despite his ability to rub people up the wrong way.

I don't mean to offend you in any way - I am just surprised that a man of your skill and knowledge would indulge in such trivia.

Normally a little reasonable and sensible humility and an apology goes a long way. I havent seen that yet.
But your post got me thinking... and I am thinking. Thanks for your post.
