TKD questions

Why is every skinny pasty white boy in America a TKD blackbelt? I know karate blackbelts and for some reason they put on muscle. Is it something about olympic tkd training? Do they want to stay in a certain weightclass and only kick each other?

I'd like to think this is some stereotype, but seriouly, you can bet money that every skinny white kid with the slightest air of confidence is strait tkd. BTW I also know very muscular men/body builders that are also tkd blackbelts. But the norm seems to be skinny white kids.

Why are korean blackbelts cooler? They get more status for it in their country. Is it something about TKD culture in america?

expand your views and take a harder look at the world of martial arts and what there is to offer.

yeah, I didn't think so. That is a stereotype, and just because you've seen 4 "pasty white kids" with black belts doesn't mean the other 30 million pasty white kids in the US do TKD too.
