I would agree with his bjj being some of the best if not the best in mma but his wrestling isn't very good.

I lie Palhares a lot, his story is very inspiring.

Well, as someone who has welded for years I can say that is a load of crap!
LOL !
Welding is NOT a labour intensive trade, its a skilled trade.

i know quite a few chicks that weld and are still pretty tiny things. maybe it depends on the type of welding??

Nah, the only lifting a welder does is the torch and the heaviest would be one of those HD 400 AMP mig ones, but they are NOT they heavy at all.
We are not talking about labour work, guys moving pipe and plate around all day.
Maybe he was referring to what he did in a welding shop BEFORE he became a welder.

If there is one thing that ANY "bodybuilder" knows is that the type of cardo and training that goes into MMA does NOT lead to the building of a "bulky body" unless one is pumping some serious weight AND getting the recovery times needed, which is really hard to do when the recovery time is being used for MMA !

Belcher did well on the ground h looked good, and thts the problem with leg locks if you dont get it you have given up top position and your arms are wrapped round his legs, not ba for grappling, not too good for MMA
